Systech is delighted to be selected to provide CES for the largest investment in a road project in Victorian history. The North East Link will complete the missing link in Melbourne’s orbital freeway between an upgraded Eastern Freeway and the M80 Ring Road. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads for local trips.
The award follows a two-year involvement by Systech in the project advising on a robust approach to managing costs across the project, including the development of budgets and forecasts and transaction support, liaising with external advisors, stakeholders, contractors, and other state/government bodies to develop robust cost baselines.
Systech has selected a strong and experienced core CES leadership team which includes Oliver Greenwood, Harry Linton, Daniel Oliver, Joshua Morris and David Smith.
Stephen Rayment, Group Managing Director, says “We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to continue our support for the NELP team and look forward to providing the delivery of cost engineering services. The North East Link project is extremely important to Systech and this award represents a game changer that marks us as a significant player in government side consultancy services. It follows other recent and similar Government side appointments on major international infrastructure projects, in particular in Canada and North America.”
