We are pleased to announce the appointments of Mark Simpson and Herman Louw to our UK and Europe senior management team.

Mark is our Director for M&E in the UK and Europe. He is a Quantity Surveyor with 35 years’ industry experience including director and commercial director roles for main contractors and tier 1 MEP contractors. He has extensive hands-on expertise across the full lifetime of projects, from procurement strategies to settlement agreements, as well as in claims management and dispute avoidance/resolution. He has worked in a range of sectors including building, commercial, defence, nuclear, rail, data centres, residential and retail. Mark is IOSH certified and a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Herman is our Director (Planning) who has extensive claims experience including the writing of expert reports and arbitration, adjudication and mediation representation. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has 30 years’ experience across a range of sectors including building, civils, rail, highways, airports, data centres, energy, nuclear, renewables and marine. He also has hands-on project planning and project management expertise. Herman has worked for contractors and employers in the UK, Australia, Middle East and South Africa.

Supporting Paschal Walsh, our UK and Europe Regional Director, Mark and Herman will strengthen our service offerings in key growth areas whilst ensuring we maintain our reputation for high-quality delivery.
