Colin Whitfield joins Systech in Canada

Our team in Canada has been strengthened by the appointment of Colin Whitfield as Commercial Director. Colin is based in Toronto and will support our long term engagements on the transport improvement program in Ontario.

Colin has over 25 years’ experience on major construction and infrastructure projects, including senior and director roles with large international contractors such as ISG, Balfour Beatty and Bouygues, where he gained significant knowledge on a wide range of contracting models including collaborative contracting, PPP/PFI as well as more traditional models including Design Build.  Colin brings considerable expertise in areas such as commercial management of active construction projects, conflict avoidance, claims and dispute resolution, as well as project controls and risk management.

Colin is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Degree in Quantity Surveying.
